  • LRT recommendations released

  • CMBS recoveries rebound

    After suffering a fairly sizeable setback during 2Q13, recoveries on liquidated US CMBS loans rebounded significantly last quarter, according to Fitch's latest quarterly index results for the sector. The recovery rate for CMBS liquidated loans jumped to 75.2% for 3Q13, compared to 60.5% in 2Q13.

  • Solar bond issued

    Independent Debt Capital Markets (IDCM) - as sole arranger and bookrunner - has closed TRFC 2013-1, a £66m solar bond issued The Renewable Financing Company (TRFC).   • EIOPA eyes 'granular' treatment of ABS

    EIOPA has released its technical report on standard formula design and calibration for certain long-term investments. The report's key proposal is to introduce a more granular treatment of securitisations.

  • Italian segregation law 'credit positive'

    The Italian government last week approved amendments to Law 130/1999 that improve the segregation of transaction funds and, in the case of a debtor default, limit potential claw-backs of prepayments.   • Credit inflows 'muted' in November

  • Bulk MSRs acquired

    Two Harbors Investment Corp subsidiary Matrix Financial Services Corporation has entered into an agreement to acquire a bulk pool of mortgage servicing rights from Flagstar Bank.   • Taper talk becomes reality
